What business wants from HR is not what HR is prepared to deliver. Historically, the HR function focused on delivering hygiene programs such as pay, benefits, and training. With increasing economic uncertainty, the people needs of businesses have changed. According to a recent Deloitte survey, the HR functions at best, earned a ‘C’ when it comes to delivering business impact.
