What Works in Executive Coaching? An Evidence-Based Analysis​

​According to HCG’s 2018 Talent Development benchmark study, 100% of the participating organizations reported using coaching for leadership development. With no widely accepted standards of practice or effectiveness criteria, there is a multiplicity of approaches and not all deliver superior outcomes. In recent years, a number of scientific studies have evaluated the effectiveness of various executive coaching approaches relative to the outcomes of interest. In this webinar, we will share an evidence-based analysis of coaching practices and share actionable advice for structuring coaching assignments.

Alyssa Perez is a Consultant for Human Capital Growth (HCG). She works part-time at HCG in aiding clients in implementing scientific, evidence-based solutions to organizational concerns. She is currently a Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology Ph.D student at the University of Central Florida. Her doctoral research includes topics of diversity, discrimination, and cross-cultural business concerns. She also works as a Research Assistant at The University of Central Florida’s Institute for Simulation and Training, where she works on important grant projects for clients such as NASA and the Army Research Lab (ARL). She also has experience in teaching undergraduate students in I/O psychology and psychometrics.

Shreya has over 30 publications and is a frequent speaker at professional conferences. Shreya has a Masters and Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University.
