Ramzi Baydoun

Dr. Ramzi Baydoun joined Abbott in 2006, in his current role as Senior Manager, Talent Management. He manages the implementation, management and validation of selection and promotion assessments for critical roles, guides Abbott’s performance management process, and is heavily involved with Abbott’s executive-level talent review.  

Prior to joining Abbott, he held various strategic HR roles at Motorola working on assessment, performance management and HR technology implementations.

He has also held several positions at IBM, McGraw Hill and McMillan publishing companies.
Ramzi attended Illinois Institute of Technology and received his Doctoral degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Victoria Davis

Dr. Victoria A. Davis is a Global Talent Management and Organizational Development Consultant with over 12 years’ experience across private, public, non-profit, university, and government entities. Victoria led the design of leadership and functional competency models for JPMorgan & Chase’s corporate finance team culminating in an online portal with linkages to trainings, career paths, professional development resources, and recruitment. Prior to joining JPMorgan, Victoria managed Marriott International’s global selection team, where she guided strategies that impacted 2M+ executive, management, and hourly candidates annually in 27 languages. Victoria’s work with The Home Depot streamlined and improved their management and hourly selection through: the design and validation of more economical tools, robust assessment center administration, and the coaching and development of future leaders. She is the co-author of the book chapter “Bridging the digital divide across a global business: Development of a technology-enabled selection system for low-literacy applicants.” Victoria received her Ph.D. and M.A. in industrial and organizational psychology from Alliant International University in San Diego, California and Baruch College – The City University of New York, respectively.

Dr. Liberty Munson

Dr. Liberty Munson is the Principal Psychometrician for Microsoft’s Worldwide Learning. She is responsible for ensuring that the skills assessments in Microsoft Technical Certification and Professional Programs are valid and reliable measures of the content areas that they are intended to measure. Prior to Microsoft, she worked at Boeing in their Employee Selection Group, assisted with the development of their internal certification exams, and acted as a co-project manager of Boeing’s Employee Survey. She received my BS in Psychology from Iowa State University and MA and PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with minors in Quantitative Psychology and Human Resource Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Dr. Eric O’Rourke is the People Analytics Lead for People Growth and Surveys on the People Analytics team at Facebook. His primary research focus areas include employee engagement, talent management, employee surveys, and applications of machine learning to HR research. He has previously been employed by the Southern California Gas Company as an HR Research & Analysis Advisor and the Dow Chemical Company as a Human Resources Selection & Analytics Specialist. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Central Michigan University and his Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, also from Central Michigan University. He is also an active member of SIOP.

Dr. Neha Singla is the Organizational and Talent Development Manager at Visa. In this role, she leads global talent assessment and executive development initiatives. Additionally, she is also spearheading the efforts for defining and integrating leadership principles into different talent management programs, such as employee selection and development, recognition, and performance management. Prior to joining Visa, Dr. Singla was the Practice Manager at CEB/Gartner for the practice area that specialized in developing job, function, and organizational-level competency models for a variety of clients, and further assisting those clients with integrating those competency models into their talent management programs. She also has extensive experience in designing legally-defensible selection programs, high-potential identification, executive assessment, leadership development, and coaching. She is an active member of SIOP; she was a member of the Visibility Committee and currently serves on the Workshop Committee. She received her Ph.D. in in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida.

Dr. Aarti Shyamsunder

Dr. Aarti Shyamsunder is an industrial-organizational psychologist who runs Psymantics Consulting, her own independent consulting practice, out of Bangalore, India. Her work focuses mainly on leadership, gender diversity and inclusion, and assessment. Aarti obtained her PhD and started her career in the US, working for Kronos (formerly Unicru) in employee selection and assessment. She moved (back) to India in 2010, where she led the Infosys Leadership Institute’s efforts in assessing and developing Infosys’s global high-potential leaders. She then worked as the Director for Research at Catalyst for 3 years, conducting and disseminating research on gender diversity and inclusion. Aarti was recognized as one of India’s Future Emerging HR Leaders at the “ The Are You In The List 2013 Awards .” In 2014, Aarti founded COSI (Community of Organizational Sciences in India) along with a small group of like-minded individuals, with the mission of advancing awareness of evidence-based management in organizations and institutions in India.

Michael Tocci

Dr. Michael Tocci is the Global Leader for Talent Operations, Analytics, and Insights with P&G’s Talent Practice. His experience revolves around leading strategy and projects that facilitate and enable data-based decision making in HR to drive business value. As a result of this work, Michael has enabled and facilitated talent decisions that have saved $10’s of millions on an annual basis, achieve diversity targets, and more efficiently utilize resources and programs to name a few. Michael holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) focused in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology.

Frank Bosco

Dr. Frank Bosco is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at Virginia Commonwealth University. His research interests include employee staffing (e.g., employee selection), cognitive ability testing, meta-analysis, and big data. Frank is a co-Founder of metaBUS (www.metaBUS.org), a winner of the 2013 National Endowment for the Humanities’ Digging into Data Challenge. Since its launch as an open science project in 2016, this big data project has enabled over a thousand evidence-based enthusiasts to make sense of more than 1,000,000 research findings. The technology platform will allow for conducting instant meta-analyses on virtually any topic in our field examined by a myriad of study- and variable-based parameters. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from The University of Memphis.

Dr. Krista Uggerslev

Dr. Krista Uggerslev is the Applied Research Chair in Leadership and Talent at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Krista holds Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Calgary, and was a tenured Associate Professor in the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba. Krista’s research has appeared in the world’s top academic journals in applied psychology and business, and has been presented to national and international audiences including NATO. She is a co-founder of the metaBUS project, aimed to transform how we locate and integrate scientific data in the field of applied psychology and management.

Maheshsubramony

Dr. Mahesh Subramony is an associate professor of management and the director of the Center for Human Capital and Leadership at Northern Illinois University. He teaches various human resource management (HRM) topics and organizational behavior to both undergraduate and MBA students, and conducts research related to the measurement and development of strategic human capital. Mahesh has worked in the HR function for Ford Motor Company and Whirlpool Corporation; consulted with several organizations including the Caterpillar Corporation, Follett Higher Education Group, Manpower Corporation, and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM); and conducted practitioner-oriented workshops on human capital metrics. His research has appeared in several scholarly journals including Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and the Journal of Management.

Dr. Comila Shahani-Denning

Dr. Comila Shahani-Denning is Full Professor and Director of the Industrial/Organizational Master’s Program at Hofstra University. She received her B.A. degree from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and her M.A. and Ph.D. from Rice University in Houston, TX. She has served as the Director of the Master’s Program for over ten years and supervises students at the Masters and doctoral level. She also serves on the executive board of METRO.
