Designing a Learning Strategy to Deliver Competitive Advantage

According to a recent Economist survey, 56% of global CEOs believe their firm lacks the right talent. To close the skills gap, organizations are increasing their investments in training. Training budgets in the US grew from 12% in 2013 to 15% in 2014, but few organizations appear to secure a return on such investments. Clearly, this points to the need for rethinking learning strategies that drive business results. Using scientific evidence on learning, the session will outline a learning strategy that enhances individual capability and the collective capacity of a business.
